It is, in metres, the altitude at which the famous Pic du Midi culminates. Appreciated by humans for its natural assets and its unique quality of observation, it provides a breathtaking panorama of no less than 300 km of mountains from east to west.
In addition to the incomparable majestic beauty of this Natural Site, you will also be able to discover the human adventure that has been inspired by it. As early as the 18th century, scientists such as François de Plantade and D’Arcet began to take atmospheric measurements and to organise astronomical observations…

From €360 / person based on a double room and a group of 23 participants (depending on available capacity).
This price includes transport by coach (from the Toulouse region), accommodation, meals and visits.
Option to add an extra night (away from the Pic du Midi) from €65 per person depending on the city of arrival + transport.

Accommodation
Accommodation will be in the rooms traditionally used by researchers.
All the rooms have a breathtaking view of the Pyrenees!
The somewhat spartan character of the accommodation has been deliberately preserved during the renovations, as a testimony to the formidable human adventure of the Pic du Midi!
